Jai Shree Radhe Krishna! 🦚🪷🌸
After a long time of wanting to dive into it, I finally started making an effort to read the Bhagavad Gita. 📖✨
I’ve often thought about picking it up, but day-to-day life kept getting in the way. Today, though, I took that first step, and I’m trying to truly understand its deeper meaning.
One powerful realization hit me as I read Chapter 2, Verse 61: with a focused and steady mind, we can achieve anything. But to reach that state, we need to gain control over our senses (Indriya). 🌿
Each sense has its own way of pulling us off course. For example:
- Jihva (Tongue) craves to taste everything, even junk food, which can harm our health.
- Vak (Larynx, organ of speech) has the power to either uplift or deeply hurt those close to us with our words.
- Payuh can lead us toward desires that cloud our judgment.
Just like these, each sense has its own influence. By mastering and guiding them, we free ourselves to pursue our goals with clarity and purpose.
PS:- Thanks to @UjjwalS bro, I think your site VedicVani helped me a lot and motivated me to start this journey. 🙏
